Lake Monocan is open during the Spring,
Summer and Fall. There are plenty of activities
at the lake to keep you busy all day. Bring a
family picnic or pick up lunch or a snack at the
Snack Bar. During the Summer, you want to make
sure that this resort amenity makes your list of
activities.
Lake Monocan Park
A 20-acre lake and park located at Stoney
Creek in the valley, staffed daily with a
lifeguard, Memorial Day-Labor Day, and weekends
in May and September, weather permitting. Snack
bar, paddleboats, canoes, inner tubes, kayaks,
fishing equipment, standard road bike rentals,
horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court, sand
beach, lounge chairs, picnic area and outdoor
charcoal grills are available. Some fees apply,
towels not provided.
Lake Monocan is open weekends in May and
September and daily Memorial Day through Labor
Day.
Hours:
10am - 6 pm and 10am - 7 pm on Saturdays in July
and August
Members, all registered resort guests have
complimentary access to Lake Monocan Park. You
will need to present a proper ID or pass for
complimentary access. Each guest will be
required to get a wristband at the shack bar
(located at the dock). The public and other
resort guests may visit Lake Monocan Park for a
small fee.
Lake Monocan Picnic Areas
Any of six picnic areas can be reserved for a
fee, in addition to the Park Access Fee. Each
picnic area has an 8 ft long table, charcoal
grill and trash can. Half day: 10am - 2 pm or 2
- 6pm. Full day: 10 am - 6 pm. To reserve one,

Lake Monocan Activities
The lake offers bikes, canoes, kayaks and
paddle boats to rent. These are rented hourly.
There is a 2-mile bike trail that follows the
lake and the Stoney Creek Golf Course. Last
rental goes out one hour before scheduled
closing. We also enjoy walking along the trails
through Stoney Creek. Lake Monocan is the
perfect starting place for a scenic walk through
the valley.
